Ok, lets do it in english too! I had my birthday some weeks ago, I reached the horryfying age of being closer to fifty than to forty. Something that only the mirror shows, for inside, except for the joints and muscles, I fell like twenty or so. Well... I do think I have lifeexperience that is worth like three og four lives, but still.. inside somewhere I am still extremely young.
That brings me over to my six year old daughter. We where sitting around the dinnertable talking about what is going to happen in the year 2100 (Gosh, what kind of strange thoughts kids go around with in their heads!) So we where talking about that then she would be 98 years old then. And I would not be there. Then we where talking about today and how old we are. I asked her "how old to you think mummy is?"
She thought for a long while and then she said
"I think you aaaaaaaarre nine......"
(I almost jumped with joy as I thought she would say nineteen!)
Oh well... there went my selfconfidence out the window.
Well.. lets get back to what I really was going to translate.
I recieved three wonderfull cards on my birthday! The first is from my dearest friend Kristian. (I think he would love it if someone left a message for him in his blog which he has just reasontly started!) He is a very talented cardmaker who I have had the greatest joy in getting to know. We have had som really long conversations during the years and although I am ninety according to my daughter and he is 24, age does not matter between us. That is the great thing about cardmaking. It brings people together! I love the layout of this card and it immidiatly melted my heart! He also makes jewellery and hatpins and he gave me a whole buch of them too!! They are so lovely and I can not wait to use them!
The second card is from my dear friend Elisabeth. She has not got a blogg. She has been my friend through thick and thin for some decades now and I am lucky to have her so close by as well. The card is do lovely with those pink colors and the bling! Just the way I love it!
The third card is from a dear friend who is called Nina. We are planning to get a blog running for here in a while so that she can show off her artwork as well. I have just gotten to know Nina, but we are allready close friends. She has been cardmaking for several years but does it with 3d and stiching and a whole variety of other tecniques that are totally unknown to me. I can't wait to get together with her and do some cardmaking together, I think Nina can teach me so much!
I feel so happy and blessed to have good friends that remember me on my day!
